INDIANAPOLIS - After sweeping both the Crossroads League Regular Season and Tournament Championships in the fall regular season, the Marian women's soccer team has announced their schedule for the spring of 2021, as announced by head coach Gary Yohe. The Knights will play six regular season contests and two exhibtions, playing seven of their eight contests in the greater Indianapolis area as they lead into the NAIA Opening Rounds.
Marian will begin their spring on Wednesday, February 17 as they make the short trip to Butler University for an exhibition with the Bulldogs. The Knights will then start regular season competition on February 20, as they host the University of Northwestern Ohio at 7 PM. The match will take place at Grand Park, in Westfield, Ind.
The Knights will play four straight games at St. Vincent Field to begin March, opening with a 7 PM match against Aquinas on March 2. The Knights will then host IU East on Friday March 5 at 7 PM, and on March 10 will welcome Jamestown for a 1 PM match. The Knights will wrap up the second week of March with a 7 PM match against Missouri Valley on the 12th at 7 PM. The meetings with Jamestown and Missouri Valley will be the first ever for Marian.
Marian will finish their March schedule with a neutral site match in St. Louis, Mo., taking on Central Methodist at 8 PM ET. Marian will finish their spring with a 2 PM match on April 3, taking on DePauw in an exhibition.
The NAIA Opening Rounds will be held on April 15 and 17, with the NAIA Tournament Championships beginning play at the final site on April 27.
An updated and modified attendance policy from the fall will be announced prior to the first match of the spring season. Specator attendance for Marian's match against UNOH will be determined by the policies in place at Grand Park.
