GREEN BAY, Wis. - IUPUI volleyball continues its road swing to start the season with two matches against Green Bay on Monday (Feb. 1) and Tuesday (Feb. 2). Monday's match will start at 5 p.m. ET and the Tuesday match will begin at 4 p.m. ET.

IUPUI (0-2) dropped its first two matches of the season against Youngstown State, losing in five sets in the first match and four in the second. Green Bay comes in to the match having also lost their first two matches of the season to Cleveland State.
The Jags outhit Youngstown State in each of the first two matches, finished with more kills and more digs, but struggled on the service line, finishing with 36 errors in the first two matches.
ABOUT IUPUI
- Freshman Madeline Haines leads the team with 3.89 kills per set after finishing with 35 kills in the two matches against YSU. In her first collegiate match, Haines finished with 20 kills and 16 digs to become the first Jaguar and and first freshman to have 20 kills in a match since Hannah Oehlberg on Oct. 31, 2018. Haines then posted 15 kills in the second match of the weekend. Haines also had five service aces in the first match and tallied six blocks over the weekend.
- Sophomore Allie Pogue picked up where she left off last season, finishing the weekend second on the team with 29 kills in the two matches. Pogue posted a 12-kill, 14-dig double-double in the first match before leading IUPUI with 17 kills in the second match and adding nine digs.
- Transfer Darragh Dixon guided the Jaguar offense at the setter position, collecting 88 assists (9.78/set). Dixon, a transfer from Long Island University, began her career with 46 assists, 17 digs and five kills. In her second match, Dixon handed out 42 assists with nine digs.
- Millai Madison began her IUPUI career with 12 kills, hitting .276 in the first match against Youngstown State. Madison added three blocks in the match.
- Emily Alan leads IUPUI in attack percentage after the first weekend, hitting .389 on 36 attacks against Youngstown State. Alan, a freshman, tallied 19 kills to average 2.11 per set and and leads the team with 0.78 blocks per set. Alans best game was the second game of the weekend as she hit .500 with 11 kills and tallied five blocks.

SCOUTING GREEN BAY
- The Phoenix struggled in their first two matches, winning just one set against Cleveland State. Green Bay hit just .092 over the two matches against the Vikings and committed 55 errors. Both Kristin Paulus and Alexandra Zakutney lead the team with 2.43 kills per set. Annelise Sparks led the Green Bay defense with 3.14 digs per set and the Phoenix are averaging 2.00 blocks per set.
