Indiana Head Coach Steve Aird

"I thought we started on time and played well through the first two sets. We showed character and resiliency to come back in the fourth set. We had young people make big plays when we needed them. It's hard to win in this conference and we are fortunate to leave Rutgers with a split. We have to find a way to keep battling and that is a skill. I was proud of our effort today. Rutgers plays very hard and they challenged us, especially with their serving. My goal with this spring season is to accumulate experience for a team that has a lot of potential."

Up Next

Indiana will travel to Iowa for matches on Feb. and Feb. 6 at 5:00 p.m. ET.
