(BUTLER RELEASE)
Freshman forward JaKobe Coles will miss the remainder of the season with a knee injury. Coles had a partially torn meniscus back on January 1 at practice.
“My new year did not start the way I wanted it to, but God’s plan is always the right one,” he posted on Instagram. “Appreciate all the support from everybody and will be back next season better than I have ever been. This is just the beginning for me. Butler nation, I will be back.”
Coles is the second player to go down with a knee injury. Scooby Johnson has missed the entire season with a torn ACL.
